Black magic or white magic?
Many in general associate the Yoruba religion as a practice of black magic, due to the sacrifice involved in the process of finding indulgence to the individual as if this were something unknown in other religions including Christianity, as reflected in the Old Testament, about this I will talk in another article. Really, in our tradition we work based on enabling the different fortunes and aligning everyone with their destiny on earth, fortunes such as: having a long and healthy life, the economic one, the benefit of having children with a family and removing the "possible" affectations of the so-called black magic.
It is true that there are ways to use "black magic” as a method of defense if necessary, exclusively for defense or justice, but in other hand there are those who keep awake due to their inclination to the negative part and there are those who dream of spiritual growth in the positive part , but this is definitely depending on the person who practices it, beyond all I think that in order to follow the commandments of Ifá, the principles of the Yoruba religion and do good, we are the majority of the faithful practitioners.
